I started working in grocery stores as a teenager and moved into management at age 19 with QFC. By age 24 I went to the wholesale side and route sales to the grocery stores. After 10 years of hard work, I could see I wanted to work for my self and, what better way than help people.
I shifted to the insurance industry in 2005. I started with New York Life to help people plan for retirement and protect their families correctly.
About 5 years ago, I created Johnson Financial and added Medicare planning to my business to help my existing clients, not knowing, ultimately, Medicare planning would become the main part of my business. I mainly focus now on Medicare planning year around.
Medicare can be so confusing for so many people. You should consider maintaining a relationship with someone who lives that world every day. It can help keep things clear – no confusion and no surprises.

This Healthcare path had also opened the door for me to help local people who are both on Medicare and Medicaid. Being able to guide them and help them explain this extra level of confusing medical has been a blessing in disguise.!
